Bernd Brohammer

works as a designer of industrial products and goods for Keramag and also at an international level for the entire Sanitec corporation. In his opinion, a good design combines a high level of aesthetics and functionality in an optimum form, in terms of production technology. Cornelia Thies

is a born and bred industrial designer. In her opinion, the measure of a good design is the customer; his/her needs, system of values, and habits decide on the form and function of her design solutions. While working for Keramag since 2000, in her own design studio in Cologne, she has designed many sanitary products and bathroom collections, innovative home appliances, garden fittings, bicycles, and many others. Every single product is a perfect example of the special sense and competence Cornelia Thies uses when designing for others.

Michael Schmidt

successfully operates in the international arena as a product designer and manages his design studio, code2design, in Stuttgart. His customers include such renowned companies as: Audi, BMW, Porsche, and Panasonic.

In his opinion, a successful design must tell a story that will inspire people. Such distinctions as: the German Design Awards, red dot awards, if design award, Design of Europe 2000, and many others reflect his high aspirations to give his work the quality that will make them different from others.

Robin Platt

has worked with industrial ceramics for almost 15 years. His clients have included glass and tableware manufacturers Rosenthal and WMF, and his creations have seen service with Lufthansa. He has won many awards and has various ceramic designs in the V&A Museum, London. With experience in both product and furniture design, creating a bathroom series has felt like a natural progression.
